Depression is a broad spectrum condition with interrelated factors in biology, environment, psychology, medicine, and society. It requires identifying these factors to come up with effective preventive and curative strategies. With this in mind, we can support the patients and make the people around aware of mental health.

Recommendations

1. Seek professional help :

Find a mental health professional to achieve the proper diagnosis as well as treatment.
2. Establish a support network of carers :

Befriends warm individuals and take an active role in socializing.
3. Self-care :

Do something that reduces tension-stress, such as exercise, meditation, or developing a hobby.
4. Learn more :

Knowledge of depression will increase awareness and hopefully eliminate the dark stigma surrounding depression.

Together we can shatter the stigma associated with depression, and, for those having depression or its symptoms within the reaches of your life, there is hope, at least in developing a community with that kind of support.
