Why we need plants to survive : Importance of Plants in Our Lives

Plants are the backbones of our ecosystems. They give us air to breathe, food to eat, and a roof over our heads. It is because of the process of photosynthesis in which they absorb the rays of sun and convert them into energy that makes life on Earth possible. No kind of life would exist on Earth without plants. In this article, we are close by the importance of plants and their benefits as well as why we have to save them.

Importance of plants

Plants have numerous benefits for human beings as well as nature. The above benefits of the most significant points, which go under plants are listed below :

1. Oxygen Production :

They produce oxygen after the photolysis of water for the survival of mankind and living of them.

2. Food Producer :

Fruit, fruits vegetables, seeds or grain was the diet of humans for which they became an essential ingredient in food.

3. Habitat and shelter:

Plants provide habitat and shelter to animals. These protect them from climatic factors as well as predators.
