History of Programming

The programming dates back to the 19th century. This is because Ada Lovelace is regarded as the world’s first computer programmer because she designed the first algorithm ever designed for usage in machine computation. However, until the 20th century, programming was not yet an independent discipline. This is because its first high-level programming languages began cropping up in the form of COBOL and FORTRAN.
